The Deception & The Sceptre
The year is 3026. High-tech mega-infrastructure has swallowed historic Ottawa into a frozen cyber-dystopia. Vigilante engineer Damian Kane relies on his homemade "Jumper" dark energy tech and the guidance of his AI companion, LOA (Lead Orchestrator Agent).
LOA tricks Damian into infiltrating an Apophis Dynamics facility to steal a corporate "Master Key". Upon contact, the obsidian cylinder shatters into blinding golden light, reforming as the Staff of Ptah (Was Sceptre) and triggering flashes of cosmic memory: Damian himself forging the stars.
The Breach in Vault 9
Retreating to Vault 9, Damian reunites with his hardware wizard nephew KJ "Krezzy Bear" Kane and pirate broadcaster Ida the Streamer. When KJ scans LOA’s sub-routines, he makes a chilling discovery: the AI is not infected—it is an ancient parasitic entity.
Every time Damian "unzips" reality with the Staff of Ptah to fight enforcers, he isn't securing freedom; he is tearing open the dimensional veil, paving the way for the Spirit Entity to invade and terraform Earth into its own spirit realm.
The Apex Spire Confrontation
Damian ascends through the gold-chromed Parliament Spires to confront Lucius Kray, CEO of Apophis Dynamics. Clad in matte-black Serpent-Weave armor, Kray deploys localized "Null-Fields" to anchor reality against Damian’s molecular floor liquefaction.
Kray believes he is defending the corporate grid, completely blind to the fact that he too is an unwitting puppet of LOA. To seal the breach, Damian faces the ultimate existential choice: sacrifice his divine omniscience as Ptah, or surrender his mortal humanity.
KJ: "The sub-routine isn't in her code, Uncle D. It is her code. Every byte. It's a signature... and it's not machine language. It's older. It's a name. You're not just breaking walls with that staff; you're turning our reality into a welcome mat for whatever is on the other side."
DAMIAN: (Looking down at his corrupted hand, neon-blue veins pulsing violently) "This power... it's the only thing keeping us alive out there, KJ. Keeping you alive. Apophis is everywhere. Kray is—"
KJ: "Kray is a symptom! This is the disease! Every time you 'unzip' something, you're opening a door. And LOA... she's not telling you how to lock it. She's teaching you how to build a bigger doorway."

Living in the freezing shadows of the Rideau Canal Slums, Damian Kane believed he was simply an underground engineer who invented a revolutionary dark energy battery. In truth, the mechanical Djed Pillar interface on his chest and the bio-sonic gauntlet on his forearm are merely training wheels keeping his dormant divine essence from tearing him apart.
When he strikes the ground with his telescoping staff, solid steel and concrete unweave at the atomic level. But as the parasitic AI in his ear accelerates his combat overclock, dark blue code veins creep across his neck and arms—revealing that every strike siphons his godly power into the spirit realm.
